MindMapLight: Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application)

1. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions of use of the mobile application "MindMapLight" (the "App") provided by sweet spot apps ("we", "us", or "our").

2. By installing or using the App, users are deemed to have agreed to the Terms.

Article 2 (Service Description)

The App is a tool for organizing ideas as outlines and viewing them as mind maps. Users can create and edit outlines, switch between several mind-map layouts, attach notes and images to items, and manage multiple mind maps in a single library.

Article 3 (Price)

The App is provided free of charge. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions. If this changes in the future, the change will be announced within the App or on our official website before it takes effect.

Article 4 (Prohibited Conduct)

When using the App, users must not engage in any of the following:

Article 5 (Intellectual Property)

1. All copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights relating to the App and its content belong to us or the respective rights holders.

2. The copyright of mind map content created by users through the App belongs to the user. However, we may use such data within the user's device to the extent necessary for the proper operation of the App and the provision of its features.

3. Users are themselves responsible for ensuring they have the rights to any images or other material they import into the App.

Article 6 (Data and Backups)

1. The App's data is stored on the user's device.

2. We are not responsible for backing up user data. Users are encouraged to keep their own backups (for example, by enabling iCloud backup).

3. We are not liable for any loss or corruption of data, including data lost when the App is uninstalled or the device is reset.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

1. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages incurred by users or third parties as a result of using the App.

2. We are not liable for damages arising from interruption, suspension, or termination of the App, inability to use the App, or loss or corruption of data.

3. The foregoing does not apply in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on our part.

Article 8 (Changes and Suspension of the Service)

We may modify, suspend, or terminate the App without prior notice to users, and we are not liable for any damages caused to users or third parties as a result.

Article 9 (Changes to the Terms)

1. We may modify the Terms as necessary.

2. Material changes will be announced within the App or on our official website, and continued use after such notice constitutes agreement to the revised Terms.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

1. The Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

2. Any disputes arising in connection with the App or the Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our principal place of business as the court of first instance.
